ALOOOOOHA!!

Been a while since I last blogged (last year LOL), but yeah, thought it was due time to do something.

So anyway, just got back from the beautiful island of Oahu in Hawaii. Let me just tell you, despite being just a week, it was one of the most awesome experiences I've ever had.

Now that I'm back in Sydney, I miss it terribly. I wish that it went for much longer, it almost kinda feels like the holiday was abruptly cut in the middle of it all. I really believe if that if we were to even spend like, another week or so A LOT of things would have happened. Now as I sit back on my little folding chair as I write this, I think to myself 'what if?' Like, Would I have had one whole day snorkelling in Hanauma Bay? Would I have gone clubbing and experience the night life? Would I have gotten a root? So many things, but alas, time was too short.

Next couple of entries would be for the trip itself. It will happen bit by bit so I won't go overboard with too much information.

Woke up Saturday morning amidst one of the wettest September days on record, it was cold and it was grey. It rained so much that the ceiling of my parents room almost collapsed from water damage. All the while, I was just thinking that I was only hours away from a tropical paradise.

Ron's family were kind enough to give me a lift to the airport, on the way we got pics of ourselves using Grizz's mobile. I guess that was the start of the camera whoring (results of which you will soon see :-))

Anyways, we touched down on Hawaiian soil on Saturday September 9, 2006 around about 8 in the morning. Funny, considering we left Sydney on Saturday, September 9 at around about 8:30PM that night. So essentially, we went back in time which was all good because it meant we spend more time doing whatever.

I'll go into greater detail in a future entry, I need the pics to further show you what EXACTLY happened. But until then, hasta mañana and I'll talk to you guys soon.
